Today was such a festive day.
This morning, Brooke and I went to poppa's work with the family and had a pancake breakfast. The only way Brooke would eat the pancakes was if they were plain {... yum?}. Everyone loved her and her squeaky shoes.
Later today, we went to Jeremy's work party and enjoyed some bowling.
Brooke was so content sitting at the table, watching us. It was her first time being in a bowling alley, and I don't think she knew what to think of it.
She loves to study her environment and decide how she should react.
I've never had better Thai food than here. It's a usual for the family to do during Christmastime. We skyped Jon and Jennie to show them the yummy food we were enjoying. It made me miss them terribly.
Brooke started playing peek-a-boo with Uncle Andrew
{4th picture down}.
She laughed and smiled so much.
Afterward, we walked around the Square in Fayetteville and enjoyed the lights. Once again, Brooke was pretty calm but seemed to enjoy the lights.
It was crazy to think that just last year, I looked like a blimp and this year I have a baby an almost-one-year-old!
This is what life is all about.
Family.
